(b) Resignation of Director

David M. Lawrence, M.D. resigned from the board of directors, including serving as a member of the Compensation Committtee, of Dynavax Technologies Corporation (“Dynavax” or the “Company”) due to other commitments, effective May 31, 2010. There were no disagreements between Dr. Lawrence and the Company on any matter relating to Dynavax’s operations, policies or practices.
